The Funplex - 25th Anniversary Branding and Merch Design

Objective:
To commemorate the Funplex's 25th anniversary, I was commissioned to design a unique anniversary logo and develop a comprehensive branding strategy. This included creating a diverse line of merchandise and marketing materials to celebrate this significant milestone and enhance brand visibility.

Design Approach: 25th Anniversary Logo Design:
Concept: The logo was created to capture the excitement and joy that the Funplex has brought over the past 25 years, celebrating this milestone with a vibrant mix of the park's various rides, water slides, fireworks, and topped off with a festive party hat.
Typography: Used modern, bold typography to convey a sense of celebration and importance.
Color Palette: Maintained Funplex’s signature colors of purple, orange, and red.
Iconography: Incorporated elements like fireworks, iconic rides in the park, and a party hat to represent celebration and fun.

​Merchandise Design: Pattern Development: Developed a playful pattern that integrates the 25th anniversary logo with illustrations representing Funplex’s attractions.

Product Range:
T-Shirts, mugs, baseball hats & bucket hats, stickers, magnets, and water bottles.

Marketing Materials:
Billboards: Designed eye-catching billboards for the 25th anniversary, featuring a father and daughter enjoying one of the park's attractions, accompanied by the slogan, "Celebrating 25 years of fun!"

Display Stand Rack Card Holders:
Designed an engaging display featuring a girl in the waterpark, the Funplex 25th anniversary logo, and the tagline "Splash, Ride, Eat, Play!"
Cafe Tray Liners: Designed tray liners for the cafe, incorporating the 25th anniversary logo, colors, and playful patterns for a cohesive dining experience.

​Social Media Campaign:
Recap Post: Crafted a social media post that recapped the 25th anniversary celebration. The post expressed gratitude for their continued support over the years, reinforcing the Funplex's appreciation for its most loyal guests.

Merchandise Introduction & Sale Post: Created a social media post introducing the exclusive 25th anniversary merchandise, while announcing a special end-of-season sale. This post aimed to drive sales by encouraging visitors to purchase commemorative items before they were gone.​

Results:
Enhanced Brand Identity: The cohesive design language strengthened Funplex’s brand identity and increased brand recognition among visitors.
Increased Guest Engagement: The anniversary merchandise and promotional materials were well-received, driving higher engagement and interest in anniversary events.

Memorable Celebration: Successfully provided guests with memorable keepsakes and experiences, boosting customer satisfaction and loyalty.
